Rome 2 Total Review

The DLC factions are not available in this version, and neither are the dlc units.
Hannibal at the gates DLC is not available.
Caesar and Gaul is not available either.
That being said, the game never feels empty, and extremely replayable, especially compared to Empire or Shogun total war. Every culture and faction feels complete and feels unique. The difference between even Makedon and Seleucids makes a huge difference in gameplay and campaign. I have put in >60 hours and haven’t even left the successor kingdoms and Rome.

This game, while pricey, is worth every dollar. Total war fans won’t be dissappointed and history fans will rejoice in it’s accuracy
