Use Steam

Unfortunately, the App Store version of the game does not allow you access all the downloadable content. I originally purchased this game here on the App Store without doing my due diligence and was disappointed to find that I could not access all the content. Fortunately, a few weeks ago Steam had the game and all its content available at 75% off. I deleted the App Store Version and bought the Steam version instead — it was a good decision. If you like strategy games you should definitely check this one out. But you should get the version available on Steam, which will at least give you the option to purchase additional DLC if you really enjoy the game.

In terms of the performance, the game does occassionally crash on my 3 year-old Mac Book Pro, but it generally runs well.
