Must be a great game, but no chance to play - crashes 1-2 mins after start... iMac 27" 2,9 GHz Intel Core i5 8 ГБ 1600 МГц DDR38 ГБ 1600 МГц DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M 512 МБ

I’m new to Total War and I understand the hate this game got because of all the bugs upon its release, but let me tell you, this game is very solid and you’ll immerse yourself in it. So far, I have Shogun II which is an amazing game as well but I like this period more, and Medieval II which is also amazing. The graphics are very good although some people might complain about them for some reason, and the battles run extremely smooth. I’ve been playing now for about a good two weeks and I’ve experienced no crashes or bugs whatsoever. Everything is running perfect. The diplomacy, trade, construction systems, etc, all work flawlessly and I really have nothing bad to say about this game. Maybe some loading screens take a bit long but you just gotta be patient and that’s it. I’m running it on a very high performance late 2015 4GHz iMac so maybe that’s why I’m experiencing no problems whatsoever but maybe turning down the graphics a little will allow for smooth gameplay on an older computer. Good luck and I think this game is definitely worth the money, if you’ve never played a TW there’s no game like them and this is a solid one with a very interesting period.

App will not open after download. Please fix. Also I uninstalled it and after downloading it again, an error keep popping up where the download can not be completed.

This game is very slow, and quits after a minute or two into the game. I have not been able to get very far. This game is way too expensive to do this. worth more like $5 right now

WARNING TO IMAC 27” LATE 2013 USERS! This version will not recognize the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M as a card with 4GB of VRAM, but as a card with 512MB and scale down the graphics making the game look worse than it’s predecessor. I am a huge fan of this series and was eagerly anticipating ROME II which is why I quickly forked out the hefty 54 EUR to get it so it’s diappointing that Apple and Creative Assembly would release this 2.0 version without testing whether it works with Apple’s highest spec iMac! This is a bad start for what is otherwise a brilliant game!

The game has bugs and crashes, i cannot continue a campaign at all.

The game is amzing and all the troops are described so detailed. I have been waiting this for so long. Overall, a great game but quite pricy.

How do i get to play as Sparta?!

The DLC factions are not available in this version, and neither are the dlc units. Hannibal at the gates DLC is not available. Caesar and Gaul is not available either. That being said, the game never feels empty, and extremely replayable, especially compared to Empire or Shogun total war. Every culture and faction feels complete and feels unique. The difference between even Makedon and Seleucids makes a huge difference in gameplay and campaign. I have put in >60 hours and haven’t even left the successor kingdoms and Rome. This game, while pricey, is worth every dollar. Total war fans won’t be dissappointed and history fans will rejoice in it’s accuracy

The game works but has bugs. Crashes at certain points without being able to fix it. I played for over a month and nearly finished the main campaign. However spontaniously the keyboard stopped working making the game almost impossible to play. You cannot control groups of units, cannot use hotkeys, not even the esc to bring up the main menue. Waiting for patch to fix the issue. Complete reinstall didn’t work, tried twice. shame!

The game is great, love the new game play and being able to control the armies that much more on the battle field. Graphics look good as well, only problem lies in the game auto-quiting every so often. It doesnt happen a ton but when it does its definately annoying. Hopefully the crashing is fixed soon because I really enjoy playing this game!

Before, Emperor Edition, this game was bad. Convert, plebs!

Good game, good graphic’s. Mechanics are solid. Unfortunately, not for mac. Game bugs like there is no tomorrow, enough to make me regret my purchase. The game does not even open anymore. Several updates would be required to make this a better game.

cant even play it because it keeps crashing on me.

I have a macbook pro , but still doesnt work. The graphic errors cause my campaign games collapse. When I start a campaign, it doesnt work. Fix this problem !!

I can’t run the game on my iMac. It crushes on start. I purchased it in Apple Store.

I spent 55 EUR on nothing. The game crushes on Yosemite (GM Candidate 2.0) just after launch. MacBook Pro 15, late 2013.
